Robert D. Parks

Dr. Robert D. "Bob" Parks is a member of the School Board of Broward County, Florida, which oversees the Broward School District, the largest fully accredited school district and the fifth-largest overall in the United States (based on enrollment). He has been a member of the school board since 1986. He is also the director of the Teaching and Leadership Center (TLC) at Florida Atlantic University.
Parks has contributed to the development of the Enterprise Ambassador Program, which aims to prepare students for life after school.
Dr. Parks is married and a resident of Pompano Beach, Florida. He is a native of Key West, Florida. He holds a 1995 Doctor of Education, Education Leadership from the University of Miami, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Florida Atlantic University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina.
