Chase Coy

Chase Coy (born Chase Aubrey Coy on December 13, 1990) is an American singer/songwriter best known for his solo work as "Dear Juliet" and his self-titled work. Coy has gained much popularity through Myspace.com and the other major social sites on the internet.
Biography
Early life
Coy was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and was raised in Greenwood, Indiana. Coy was raised in a Christian household and attended church for most of his life.
Early Music
Coy's first attempt for a musical act was in the 8th grade in a band that was known as "The Method." Coy played guitar, while 3 of his friends played alongside him. Eventually, although the band never accomplished much, the band split up due to disagreements on the band's direction.
Solo career
Coy first started his solo career known as "Dear Juliet." The spreading of Coy's music was mostly due to his online popularity. After a few years as "Dear Juliet", Coy decided to change his name to his birthname and became more focused on his music. Chase has recorded many EP's such as; 'December' 'Look How Far We've Come' and 'Goodbyes and Autumn Skies'. In 2009 Coy decided to postpone his college plans and focus on touring and his musical career. On May 5, 2009, Coy was named one of the Rising Stars of Folk according to the iTunes Essentials list. Coy embarked on recording his first full-length album in the Summer of 2009 and plans to release in the coming year.
