Ch. Muhammad Afzal Lodhra

Ch. Muhammad Afzal Lodhra (Born in 1951) is a Pakistani banker, an educationist, and professional human resource trainer who has served as the Senior Vice President of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP). He has been part of various government commitments, attending the meetings of the Board of Directors of Heavy Mechanical Complex Pvt Ltd. and Fauji Fertilizer Company Ltd. etc being the nominee director.
His father, Ch. Jamal Hussain Lodhra, was an agriculturist from Rukkan a village situated in Mandi Bahauddin District. He attended the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad graduating with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture economics. He also holds a Master of Science in agriculture economics from the same university besides various other professional courses in banking and finance. Ch. Muhammad Afzal Lodhra later became the Senior Vice President of the National Bank of Pakistan, and served as the Regional Credit Chief and Director Staff College in Islamabad.
Being the Director Staff College of National Bank of Pakistan, he was responsible for the training and development of the employees, officers and senior executives of various regions including Islamabad , Rawalpindi , Jhang, Faisalabad , Gujrat, Jhelum , Sargodha , Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Regional Audit Office Islamabad. His meritorious services, while serving as the Senior Vice President and the Director Staff College of the National Bank of Pakistan, are widely recognized particularly by the staff members of Federal Capital Region of National Bank of Pakistan. It is commonly attributed that he tried his best and succeeded to significantly raise the federal capital region's profits and developing the management trainees’ acumen of banking during his tenure. He got retired from the same post upon reaching the superannuation in 2010. He is frequently invited as the guest speaker on various educational institutes and leadership forums regarding research, contemporary management and human resource practices in Pakistan.
He is married with four children and currently lives in Islamabad, Pakistan.
