Hasan Afzal

Hasan Afzal is a well known Pakistani citizen, author, ex-principal and research analyst. He has nine plus years work experience at national and international level. He was born on 8 October 1978 in Sahiwal. He was ex-Principal,Civil College of Commerce, Rawalpindi and Nova College of Commerce, Lahore Cantt. His four research papers have been published in Canada, Australia and India and one paper has been presented in International Conference in India. He also prepared reports on “Service Rules”, “Service Regulation”, “Three Years Financial Plan” for NRSS, which was fully funded by World Bank. He also wrote “Principles of Auditing” for B.Com students.
Family
He was born in Rajput (Bhutti) family. His forefather Chaudhary Amanat Ali Khan Zaildar with his five sons came from Tehsil Dasuya District Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India to Chak No. 85/6-R, District Sahiwal, Punjab, Pakistan after partition of subcontinent. Chaudhary Abdul Rehman Tikka is literate person in his family so other members called him Tikka as respect. Hasan Afzal’s father Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan is working in National Bank of Pakistan as Officer Grade One. During the banking service, he was also elected Senior Vice President and Secretary General of Union and NBP Officer Association Sahiwal Region. Hasan Afzal has two younger brothers namely, Rana Shahzad Afzal, Territory Manager (Sialkot) of Pepsi International and Rana Hammad Afzal, Communication Officer, in NGO.
Hasan Afzal’s maternal grand father Chaudhary Ghulam Ahmad Khan was a brother of Chaudhary Ghulam Fareed Khan Advocate, who was elected MLA (Member Legislative Assembly) from Gurdaspur India on Muslim League ticket in 1946 election. After partition, their family shifted to Sahiwal. Chaudhary Ghulam Ahmad and Chaudhary Ghulam Fareed were buried in 87-A/6-R, Sahiwal. Rana Tariq Javed, ex-MNA and Special Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan and Rana Amer Shahzad Tahir ex-Tehsil Nazim, Sahiwal are nephew of Hasan Afzal.
