The Cashmere Agency is an independent marketing agency specializing in all areas of the marketing and promotions in the entertainment industry, including but not limited to Commercial/non-Commercial Radio Promotion, Publicity, Street/Lifestyle Marketing, Online Marketing, Viral Video Dissemination. Founded in 1999 by Ted Chung, Cashmere Agency has grown to be one of the west coast largest independent integrated marketing companies, and recently went international opening offices in New York and Mumbai, India. They have coordinated campaigns for the likes of Snoop Dogg, Warner Bros. Records recording artist Murs, Eric Benét, V.I.C., Wiz Khalifa, various shows for the , SRC/Universal artist Shontelle and many more. History Founded in 1999 by Ted Chung as a street promotions company, the Cashmere Agency grew into an integrated marketing company providing not only street promotions, but also online marketing and viral campaign support. Over the past 10 years the company has been in operation they have built up a client list to include many top-selling artists as well as several corporate heavyweights. The company has also grown in numbers, taking on new employees in response to the growing industry demand for Cashmere's services. In 2008, Cashmere opened an office in New York and grew into an international company with its creation of Cashmere Asia based in Mumbai, India. The company's new presence in India has bridged the gap between the Far East and West with the fusion of main stream Hip Hop and increasing presence of Bollywood.
