Carroll's Winward Carroll's Winward was one of rides. This show quality horse Stood 17h high and was chestnut in colour. The past of this horse before it came into Eddie Macken's possession is somewhat unknown. Mr Macken bought the horse at the RDS Dublin Horse Show. Quote from Eddie: he was quite simply push button After some time together, Macken sold Winward for a considerable price to America. Tragedy then struck the much loved show jumping horse not long after he was sold. He was being transported in a horse lorry that was involved in an accident. -it was fatal for Winward and the 4 other horses in transit. |
