The company provides accessories, financing, warranty work and service for motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and other RVs. Campers Inn is also a retailer of camping and outdoor equipment related to the RV industry. The company is based in Kingston, New Hampshire, and is privately held. Campers Inn is the largest RV retailer in the Northeast United States and one of the largest RV retailers in the US along with Camping World and . The company is currently operated by CEO Jeff Hirsch, the son of the founders Art and Fran Hirsch. Jeff Hirsch also is the current Chairman of the Board for the Recreational Vehicle Dealer Association, which represents RV dealer interests in the $30 billion North American RV market. History Campers Inn was originally founded in 1966 in Acton, Massachusetts under the name Nashoba Valley Trailers. The company was founded by Art and Fran Hirsch and has been owned and operated by the Hirsch family since the company's inception. In 1977, the company expanded into southern New Hampshire, took on the name Campers Inn, and quickly became one of the New England's largest retailers. In the 1980s and 1990s, the company continued its expansion in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and it solidified its position as the regions largest RV retailer. In 2003-2005, the company consolidated several locations before opening up stores in Southeast United States in 2006-2008. The company's most recent expansions include locations in Mocksville, North Carolina and Kings Mountain, North Carolina. The company now has locations across the Eastern US in states such as New Hampshire, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.
