AKAI Stereo Cassette Deck

The AKAI Stereo cassette deck is a system that requires 2 mono input devices such as microphones to record something to a cassette. The deck also plays cassettes and uses the Dolby NR technology. The Noise reducer cleans the sound by muting static frequencies and can be set to either low noise or chrome and has an enabling switch. The device also has lights to indicate if the tape is running (TAPE RUN) and if you are recording (REC). When recording, Volume Levels are indicated by two needles at the top-left corner of the device where it says VU LEVEL.
This product has been replaced with mixers, multi-channel recorders and some computers. As well as cassettes being replaced by Compact Discs and MP3/AAC players.
