Bridgid Nzekwu

Bridgid Nzekwu (born 1969) is a television news presenter and reporter in the United Kingdom. She has co-presented Channel 4 News since August 2000. Her specialist areas are personal finance/business and health. She speaks fluent French.
Early life
She graduated from Queen Mary College, University of London in 1992 with a First Class Honours degree in European Studies. After university she became a new media consultant, advising companies on CD-ROM and internet development.
Broadcasting career
Her broadcasting career began in 1997 as a producer on The Big Breakfast news, then as a reporter for First Edition (news and current affairs for young people), followed by Channel Four News and Channel 4's political current affairs programme, Powerhouse. She has also presented More4 News, Five News summaries for Channel 5, First Edition for Channel 4 Learning, the 24-hour ITN News Channel and two education series for Teachers TV.

Special interests
Health - Bridgid Nzekwu presented the BAFTA-winning online show Embarrassing Bodies Live in 2010. She is in remission from cancer after two years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy as a teenager.
Business/Personal Finance - From 2007-2009 Bridgid Nzekwu was Money Reporter for Channel 4 News, covering the credit crunch, market fluctuations, bank failures and the recession.
