Brian Hannigan is the Founder and CEO of Ratekick.com, RateElert.com and Hannigan Insurance Agency, LLC. Brian has been in the insurance industry since 1998 when he started Hannigan Insurance Agency with his partner and father Marty Hannigan. Realizing that more and more people were looking for a faster and easier way to get Auto Insurance quotes, he launched RateElert.com in 2008 which was roughly based on a Lending Tree model. RateElert.com matched online quotes with insurance providers. In 2012 Brian founded RateKick.com, which shows price estimates of auto insurance carriers side-by-side, something that was not being done at the time on other websites. While founding these new online companies, Brian Hannigan continued to field two offices for Hannigan Insurance Agency out of Ann Arbor, MI and Clinton Township, MI. In 2014 Hannigan Insurance Agency was awarded a $400,000 Michigan Business Development Program grant from The Michigan Economic Development Corporation for a business expansion and to establish a national call center in the Ann Arbor region, creating 75 new jobs. The company Ann Arbor SPARK offered support to the project for job matching assistance and hiring events. In April 2015, Brian Hannigan moved Hannigan Insurance Agency, from two locations, to one centralized large location in Ann Arbor, MI where it currently resides. See Also
