Brett Leve (born July 7th, 1984) is a co-founder and curator at Summit Series. The annual event attracts entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, artists and musician, and other thought leaders. Past attendees include Bill Clinton, Sir Richard Branson, Beth Comstock, and John Legend. Summit events have raised tens of millions of dollars for business and nonprofit ventures. Leve manages the Summit Action Fund, which has made investments in disruptive startups such as Qwiki, Uber, and Warby Parker. In April 2013, Summit purchased Powder Mountain, the largest ski resort in America, for a reported $40 million, where Summit is building a sustainable residential community called Summit Eden, with the goal of creating an epicenter of culture and innovation. Plans for Summit Eden indicate a development of 500 homes and a village of comparable density, a recording studio, conference lodge, startup incubator and an innovation laboratory.
