Racing Career
2005
In 2005 Bret Jr. traded dirt for asphalt. The first tracks he raced on were Anderson Speedway in Anderson, Indiana and Winchester Speedway in Winchester, Indiana. He finished 5th overall in the CRA (Champion Racing Association) Street Stock Series that year. His father also raced that year and finished 3rd in points

May 22, 2005 Dennis, Bret Sr. and Bret Jr. all participated in a race at Winchester Speedway. It was the first and only time for this to happen as the family lost Dennis to cancer three months later. Bret Sr. won the race, Bret Jr. finished 8th and Dennis finished 18th.


2006
The 2006 racing season saw Bret Jr. running for "Rookie of the Year" honors at Anderson Speedway in the Street Stock Division. He not only reached that goal but finished 2nd in points. Bret Jr. finished the season on a torrid pace winning three of the final four points races, including The Star Press Season Championship race. Bret Jr. added another pretigous trophy to his 2006 collection by winning the Street Stock feature race of the Ninth Annual Stock Car Festival at Anderson Speedway.



2007
For 2007 Bret Jr. will venture into the Late Model ranks, competing in the CRA Super Series by teaming up with Rck Turner in a second Great Deals Coupon Magazine owned car. Bret Jr. will compete in the 2007 season on a limited basis and make a run at the CRA Super Series Rookie of the Year in 2008.
