Brandon blankenship

BRANDON “XPLICIT” BLANKENSHIP

Brandon Blankenship was born on June 7th, 1993. XPLICIT is best known for his basketball
skills and awards/championships. He is also know in the underground mixtape rap game, with
over four mixtapes, such as “From The Ground UP”, “The Boss”, UGK The Real Underground King”
(which has no disrespect towards the death of Pimp C, and “The Hottest N*GGA Under The Sun”.
He is currently working on his fifth mixtape “Picture Purfect” which will drop at the end of May.

Early Life:
Brandon was born in Rockford Ill, but spent most of his time in Chicago.
At the age of three years old he fell in love with basketball and has been
playing every since then. He has stated “I have three loves, my family, my
girl, and basketball.” He attended Eisenhower middle school from sixth to
eighth grade. He was a great player on the basketball team. Sixth grade year
Blankenship did not start on the team. But when certain starters on the team
became ineligible (classified) that gave Brandon a chance to shine. Blankenship
came back seventh and eighth grade to start ant point guard/shooting guard.
Brandon and the Eagles had to suffer losses both sixth and seventh grade year
to West Middle School. Although in eighth grade year West did not make it to
the championships, when the Eisenhower eagles did. They went on to face Qauvion
Kemble and the Resa Owls. Brandon and the eagles ended up coming out on top.
Blankenship lead the Eagles with 16 points and 9 assist. In a interview after
the game Blankenship stated “ I thought Resa played well but we came out on
top, we knew we had to play smart and play hard. It means so much that we’ve
won this our final year.

07-08:
During the summer of 07 Blankenship played for Aau team 2con.
Where he has said “I Have the best coach I have ever had he knows
how to interact with teenagers and when your on your game he lets
you be the coach.” Blankenship (team leader didn’t have the best
attitude and it showed on the court. Brandon realized that,
and when he did 2 con was playing better ball then they imagined.
On 2con Brandon averaged 27 points a game and 11 assist.
Brandon currently has plans to return to his favorite aau team
in the summer of 08, back to his favorite coach…. Lamont.

Guilford Vikings:

Brandon currently goes to Guilford High School. He played on the basketball team but got kicked off
because of eligibility problems. Brandon said “that was the worst feeling in my life and I promise
I wont let anyone down again. On his current report card for 3rd quarter he got a 3.2. And currently
has a 3.8. So it looks like Blankenship’s keeping his promise to keep his grades up. He’s sure he’ll
come back better then ever.

Brandon is currently ranked 2nd freshman in the state.
