Bob Salpeter (born on October 16, 1935) is an American graphic designer. Salpeter studied in New York at the High School of Industrial Art and the School of Visual Art and from 1954 to 1957 was a designer / illustrator with Ben Lorenz Associates. He was Art Director at IBM (1960 - 1971). In 1972 he become Creative Director and partner in Lopez Salpeter, Inc. Salpeter taught at Pratt Institute (1986 - 2005). Since 2005 Salpeter has been partners with Diane Ventura in Salpeter Ventura Design. Salpeter has received design awards from the American Institute of Graphic Arts, The Art Directors Club of New York, Type Directors Club, Design International in Paris.
