Bleeding Apple is a collection of film and video artists working out of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Formation and Description Formed in 2008, Bleeding Apple is a collection of artists collaborating on various forms of video and film projects, including music videos, short and full-length film, documentaries, animation and video art. The artists within the movement maintain their autonomy, and often produce works outside of the organization. The mission of Bleeding Apple is to promote a tradition of successful Canadian independent films, specifically films made in the region of Guelph, Ontario. Founding members include Gabriel (Philip) Carrer, Grayden Laing, Angus McLellan and David McLeod. The collection has worked with Guerrilla Force Films, Chronograph, Septagon Studios, Black Fawn Films, Suburban Noize Records, and Ed Video Media Arts Centre. The Bleeding Apple logo was designed by Jordan Jocius.
