History
Initially GangstasParty.com was an online hip hop magazine, founded by Dave Amato in July 2004. GangstasParty.com was the first monthly magazine who discussed all elements of the US hip-hop industry with a browseable reader, which is similar to the lay-out of a printed magazine. The magazine has featured many luminaries in its pages, often highlighting artists before their big breaks. Its first print edition (May 2007) was available in English (in the United States). In November 2013, the magazine changed its name to Black Music Magazine.
Today, Black Music Magazine (or Gangstasparty.com) presents reviews
of new hip-hop releases, interviews with industry heavyweights (Trey Songz, Shanice, Jedi Mind Tricks, Crooked I, Daz Dillinger, Cherish and much others..) and upcoming artists, daily music news and exclusive events.
