BittyBug And LadyBug is a bedtime story written and illustrated by Rebecca DeField. Plot overview BittyBug And LadyBug is a bedtime book about a character called BittyBug. He can't go to sleep. His mother suggests different activities such as getting water or a kiss but none of her ideas make him more tired. At the end of the story she discovers that he needed a lullaby. Other pages The book includes a checklist of things to do before children go to bed. It also includes activities for children to do in the morning such as coloring pages, a maze, a hidden character throughout the book and recipes. Recognition The book was one of only two books recognized by the Children’s Museum of Skagit County and the Skagit County Board Of Commissioners during Skagit Kids Read Week. |
