BIT-Team is a term used for a professional OnGuard Development Team. The team consists out of two members. Jan Van Veldhuizen and Luc Geniar. BIT-Team stands for : Bespoke, Innovation and Troublshooting - Team.
The Burma/Myanmar Information Technology (BIT) team
The Burma/Myanmar Information Technology (BIT) team is a group of India-based Burmese youth committed to the restoration of freedom and democracy through information and communication technology (ICT).
History
Members of the BIT team are youngsters who have completed the sixth-month Computer ICT intensive course at MAHITI InfoTech Pvt. Ltd based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in February 2002, with the financial support of the Burma Project / Southeast Asia Initiative of the Open Society Institute.
As the training completed, BIT Team was formed in 2003, and has been conducting a series of basic and advanced ICT training courses in Delhi and at the Indo-Burma border aimed at improving the communication and computer skills of Burma/Myanmar democratic media, journals, activists, students, and youth.
