Maria Redaelli-Granoli

Maria Granoli (née Redaelli; born 3 April 1899) is an Italian supercentenarian. Aged , Redaelli-Granoli is the oldest living Italian, one of the ten oldest Italians of all time, and the oldest person ever from the region of Lombardy. She is among the 12 verified oldest living people in the world.
Biography
Maria Redaelli-Granoli was born in Inzago in the province of Milan in the Italian region of Lombardy, on 3 April 1899. She says her biggest passions in life are pasta and football, her favorite team being . In 2007, at age 104, she was hospitalized (for the first time in her life) after falling and fracturing a femur, but recovered completely in six months. On her 110th birthday on 3 April 2009, she said I have seen two wars, I have gone hungry, I suffered, but I also had a lot of satisfaction. For each birthday I get emotional and think about my life and the gift that God gave me. Redaelli credits her longevity to hard work. She likes cooking and eating tasty food, reading newspapers and watching television, and listen to football games.
