Bishop Allen Academy Model United Nations Conference

History
Four years prior to the creation of the Bishop Allen Model United Nations Conference, Bishop Allen Academy was known for their participation in Model United Nations events, but not specifically known for overwhelming success. It was over these past four years, that Bishop Allen Academy sprung to the competitive edge of Model United Nations debating, on the local, provincial and even national scale. Whether that is attributed to the school's recent focus on current events, or rather just an overall trend in this new generation of students, Allen students have thrived and developed into incredible international thinkers.

During the Christmas season of 2007, co-head delegates Mauricio Curbelo, and James Dempsey approached the novel idea of running their own conference, through the experience garnered from past MUN experience. And with that Bishop Allen Model United Nations Conference was born.
