Benjamin K. Piilani (born June 04, 1980 in Centralia, Illinois) is the current Chairman of the board and Chief Executive of American Holding Company Unified Technologies Group, Inc.
Biography
Piilani started his career in 1996 in the Telecom Arena with Voice over Internet technologies (VoIP), while it was still yet in its infancy as a technology, with Unlimited Telecom. Unlimited Telecom deployed a commercially viable, dial around VoIP system to compete in the "Long Distance" market. Due to the complete lack of residential high speed Internet access, Unlimited Telecom used the consumers existing telephone carrier's network to allow customers to make long distance calls. It was the first commercially released, " Flat-Rate" telecom service in the United States market.
In 1998, Piilani launched his first Internet based company "Internet Business Advertisement Directory" ("I.B.A.D." www.ibad.com - now defunct). IBAD was a search engine that was able to identify the location of the user, and produce relevant, geographically based results for the client and paid for by the advertising businesses. This allowed businesses looking to market online only to consumers that would benefit the business. Consumers were not driven to businesses that were out of their geographic location. This benefited both, the consumer as well as the advertising business. IBAD eventually succumb to the market pressures of the "AOL, Yahoo, Google" era.
In 2001 Piilani launched I-Net Solutions, Inc. ("I-NET"), a hardware, software, and networking company that operated under the trade names of "Piilani Computers" and "INS Communications." I-NET catered to large commercial, health care, municipal, and educational projects for any IT related software, networking, ISP services, and equipment. I-NET's core product was the "Piilani Computer" line. Manufacturing white box, ISO 9000 compliant computers for its clientele. Through I-NET, Piilani was able to establish many industry relationships that are still considered part of core background today.
In 2003, Piilani formed Unified Technologies Group, Inc. Piilani now currently resides as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Unified Technologies Group, Inc., which acquired I-Net Solutions, Inc. in 2003, and is classified as a " Diversified Conglomerate," with a vested interest in many areas of Communications and Technology from VoIP and IPTV to Broadband over Power Lines, Mobile Applications, and content creation and distribution. In addition, Unified Technologies Group has vested interests in many other areas as well, including, but not limited to International Financial Services, Manufacturing, Alternative Energy Technologies, and Real Estate. Unified Technologies Group has operations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
Piilani was elected as Illinois Businessman of the year in 2004, and currently resides as an Executive Committee Member for the National Energy Marketers Association ("NEMA") out of Washington D.C., and Co-Chairs NEMA's Advanced Technology and Policy Committee.
Piilani has testified, in Washington D.C., before many regulatory agencies, including the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC"), the Federal Energy and Regulatory Commission ("FERC"), and the Department of Energy ("DOE") on behalf of regulatory issues involving different technologies, including technologies owned and operated by Unified Technologies Group, to help set regulatory precedence for nascent technologies while adding or changing current policies relating to existing technologies. Piilani also has existing relationships within the European Union and Asia.
Piilani has developed relationships with many fortune 500 companies, both domestically and internationally such as Advance Micro Devices ("AMD"), Boeing, Agilent Technologies, and Rhode and Schwarz. In addition, his relationships extend internationally with Electric Utilities, Mobile Carriers, Commercial and Residential Developers, International Finance, IT, Manufacturing, Film, Television, and Internet Content creation and distribution.
Piilani has focused on building the corporate infrastructure needed to maintain rapid growth as a company and on ensuring that quality remains high while product development cycle times are kept to a minimum. Along with the rest of the team, Ben shares responsibility for day-to-day operations. Ben's experience includes being an Internet strategist, entrepreneur and developer of innovative technologies. His well-seasoned perspective perfectly complements needs as a young and rapidly growing technology company with a unique corporate culture.
Piilani has a royal lineage that can be traced back to before King Kamehameha, to King Pi'ilani of Maui. Piilani's hobbies include storm chasing (severe weather analysis and monitoring), on a professional level, and developing new business relationships. He holds certifications from the National Weather Service ("NWS"), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ("NOAA"), and the National Association of Storm Chasers and Spotters ("NASCS"), as well as belonging to a local Emergency Management Agency.
I have been asked to join the selling arm of Bussirk Mobile which is the retail and selling divisions for your Voip cellular/data service in the United States and soon Canada under the selling firm Global Verge. One thing that concerns me is the does Global Verge have the rights to market your Voip service and equipment and if so what is the duration of this agreement. I have been advised that the agreement is to sell a certain amount of services by years end and once met that they then have the exclusive rights to selling you wonderful product. Being from a direct sales background I find it difficult to begin marketting personally and through my organization on a business agreement that does not secure my commission and residual income. Confirmation that GLOBAL VERGE is in fact the selling arm and that their right to sell is secure for a long long relationship would make my decision much easier. I have not been able to find any documentation outline your commitment to Global Verge. Since my direct sales downline is heavy in Canada and sizeable in the U.S. I would like further info on your relationship wiith Golden Verge.
I would apprecate a reply from Mr. Pillani or a authorised officer of your firm, Unified Technologies Group
Thanking you in advance for your help in this matter.

Beware people, this is a Piramid Scheme!
Guest
7. 17-06-2009 18:43
It may be a piramid scheme, but what have you got to loose,a $100.00?
Guest

Most people don't even really understand what a "Pyramid Scheme" is. Most of the people that hate it is because of what Amway has done to them, or other companies like it.
Here is the definition of Multi-Level Marketing and Pyramid Scheme for the BBB of Central $ Eastern Kentucky. (http://www.lexington.bbb.org/commonreport.html?compid=14004419)
Multi-level marketing is a legitimate method for promoting goods and services. Since representatives in such programs are usually independent, interested parties should consider such positions as a business opportunity. Learn all you can about the offer, the company itself, the products and services to be sold, and the potential market for products and/or services offered. Any contracts involved should include, but not be limited to: the responsibilities of the company and investor to each other; what the investment involves; money, products and services to be exchanged; any promises made by representatives or found in company literature, and terms and conditions for cancellation, exchanges and refunds. Be wary of any company which encourages or requires 'frontloading' where is defined as buying a large stock of items before sales call for them. It can be difficult if not impossible to sell frontloaded items. Before signing, discuss the offer with a trusted business advisor.
Although it is possible to build a successful multi-level business with comparatively little start-up money, keep in mind that it is not a means of getting rich quickly or easily. Successful distributors who recruit and train a large sales force also assume ongoing wholesaling and managing responsibilities as well as making sales to their own customers. Managing a large network can be lucrative, but it is hard work and can become a full-time job.
Pyramid schemes, on the other hand, concentrate mainly on the quick profits to be earned by selling the right to recruit others. The merchandise or service to be sold is largely ignored, and little or no mention is made regarding a market for those products and services. Pyramid scheme participants attempt to recoup their investments in products by recruiting from the ever decreasing number of potential investors. You may be tempted to become involved in a pyramid unless you recognize its tactics. These include: claims of ease in realizing a fabulous return on your investment; claims of being a shortcut to riches, easy living and early retirement; calls for a large initial investment fee; the plan focuses more on recruiting others than on selling products or services. While illegal, pyramid schemes tend to exploit those with limited means, and they are difficult to prosecute. Most often money invested is lost.

This is just great! I signed up (as well as my daughter) with GlobalVerge to market services/plans available through Buzzirk and this site/information doesn't make me feel secure about signing on the dotted line. So, Mr. Piilani ... it would be nice to see a few supportive responses from you on these voiced concerns. Is this real? Step/speak up.

This is a an incredible opportunity. Almost every adult has a mobile phone and couldn't be PAID to do without it. Take an exclusive 2100mhz technology that has ALREADY won a Laptop magazine award and CTIA's best of show, pack it with incredible features, price it FAR below the competition, throw in unlimited International for $10.00, eliminate ALL taxes, fees and surcharges,(WOW) then tie it into a one of a kind advanced compensation plan. Imagine the economy gets 3x worse, we only get stronger!!! Everyone needs to save money and make money!!! Retention rates will be absolutely off the charts. What other MLM product could you even BEGIN to say that about? People will NEED this product. Even folks that claim to 'hate' Network Marketing will be excitedly telling friends and family about their awesome money saving/making phone service. That is just so cool to me! Allowing them to gradually experience the beauty of the true MLM American Dream! So often companies will 'claim' that they're 'the finest opportunity in Network Marketing today'. My question was always WHY? Since finding this Global Verge opportunity last week, I finally have an answer to my question, do you? (-:

You guys adressing your messages to Mr. Piilani are too funny. I'm sure he doesn't even know about this site of if he does never comes here. This site just gets contents from all part of the web to attract clueless surfers like you, just to have you click on their ads. And, BTW, Mr. Piilani is in a hospital after crashing his car while DUI. See http://www.wjbdradio.com/index.php?f=news_single&id=17274

I am very excited to be part of this. Can you tell me how to order the phone so there will be one available for me when July arrives. I do have a question. What is service like on the phones. My hospital wants to buy blackberries for all the doctors so they can write orders on them and send to the hospital. Their concern is service. This could be their answer if I can meet their needs.

Interesting,
It appears the competition is getting nervous as they are about to become obsolete when Buzzirk introduces their new wireless mobile system.
No doubt network marketing casts a shadow on Buzzirk for those who don't have a clus what it really is, and worse, morons who call it a pyramid and cannot even spell it as one poster, #6 guest wrote. lol
Buzzirk is an industry changing technology, and all one has to do is wait if they are skeptical, it really makes no difference as a user, simply wait. For those who understand the telcom industry, this has been in the works for years, and now, finally coming to market.
If you want to represent GlobalVerge as an e-associate, then you have even more reasons to do your due diligence, but I have, and I have demonstrated device at CTIA, so let us examine the risks. There is no contract, not overpriced, in fact, less than half the price of competition, and I am going to save over $100. a month. Mobile devices are most high tech I have seen, far more advanced than iPhone 3GS just released, and since AT&T could not even support applications, makes you more aware of peak bandwidth issues with cellular frequencies.
Since it only costs $19.95 to register as an e-associate, and then be first to recieve and evaluate mobile devices and high speed wireless internet, it won't take long to determine if they have everthing they claim they have. Some will wait, some won't, but with so little to risk to take an early position given the nature of the compensation plan, you could get lucky and see customers fall into your group for a very strong residual income. No risk, no reward is what I always say.

If this was for real, why do they want money up front for a product that does not exist?
Guest
16. 27-06-2009 21:38
What money, the $19.95 to become an e-associate at the skeptical level, or the $79.95 when you activate the phone, as in, prepaid?
And what about your $50. a month for Lightyear? Seems everyone who is attacking Buzzirk is involved in launch of Lightyear and there semi unlimited deal. lol But hey, I almost signed up for Lightyear too, so we shall see who wins out in end.

to Brenda Flynn -
why do you want Lynda Peeler to call you to order all of her phones when you pretty much don't believe in what they are doing, or for how long??? And why are you trying to contact other people posting comments for the same reason??

Wendy, After hearing about Buzzirk Mobile/Global Verge in May at a presentation given by three people with vast MLM expeience I did what all business persons should do, I spent an incredible amount of time investigating each and every piece of information given to me. This was a sight I stumpled onto and decided to ask a question. Since that time all my questions have been answered, the product is incredible, the compensation plan once digested is even beter that first thought. I am an Associate, and have been since the first days of June. I on my way to building a strong and productive family of business associates. Many of us are from the technology field and have much MLM experience.
My asking for someone to contact me should be of no consequence to you.
However, if you want to contact me you may at any time and I will help you see the merit in joining this company and the benefits it will provide are substantial. However, Success in any MLM depends on an individuals efforts and commitment and the commitment to their team.
Please feel free to contact me.

As brenda says above.. People join MLM companies and those that do not do well are those that do NOTHING!
You have to work..this is not a get rich quick scheme..it is a 'get rich biz' ONLY through your effort, determination to succeed and the efforts of those you mentor. alreadybuzzirk@gmail.com

Agreed,
There are a lot of people bashing us, and mainly they are the competition, ACN and Lightyear, and in my opinion, this is a good sign for they are slinging mud, saying what is clearly not true, and no doubt, this will come back and bite them, as is always the case.
Competition is good, especially when you beat all the rest hands down like Global Verge and Buzzirk do. I used the POW-R-SAVE and this should not be overlooked given the electric rates are expected to rise 150% in next couple years with new energy bill mandating coal burning power plants will have to spend $3.2B each to clean up the pollution. And guess who will pay for this clean air, we will, so check out POW-R-SAVE under the GlobalVerge product site. Save up to 25% on your electric costs, sure made sense to me.
Success to all, www.Go-Buzzirk.com

What an awesome opportunity! My company joined as a distributor about 3 weeks ago. I have previous mobile telecom sales experience, so I jumped on this opportunity soon after I became aware of it. There is NOTHING like this technology being offered on mobile handsets today by any of the major carriers. My team is rocking and rolling, so feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions or would like to join a strong team that will help you succeed.

Ya all need to check out the address of Global Verge for starters. Then look at ZeroOne's parent companie Unified Technologies Group website and study it for about 15 minutes...click some links, check out some addresses, check out how "international " they are....then run as far away from this house of cards as possible. Or rope in your friends and family and continue to build your business and destroyu your karma.

Unsecured mobile phones? LOL. I have never even heard of Lightyear or anythign else but come on unsecured mobile phones? Come up with a better argument than that. I'm sure Hollywood Stars not to mention CEO's or State and Local Government Leaders talk a lot on unsecured mobile phones. Yes I do know what I'm talking about I have sold mobile phones in Retail and B2B for over 10 years. At the Local State, and Federal Level.

Love ya Mike..nonya and others working somewhere always know everything...about where they work.. so their sight is limited to that which they 'know'..and do not aspire to learn about new technology that just might be REAL..and change their business... I am thrilled to be in buzzirk much more so, than I was with being in LYW..and just because someone has NOT heard of something...well..that means NOTHING!! Instead they should be eager to LOOK INTO what they do not believe..or know anything about... but then..that means caring and taking time and learning to admit they may be wrong..and by the way there is NOTHING wrong in admitting you are wrong...but there is something wrong in insisting others are full of it because YOu do not know about what they talk about... Mike is right.. check into it yourself..

I checked out the cell phone tapping video in the link you provided, just mind blowing. Nonya reconsider everything you thought you ever knew. Do you realize scientists have mathematically proven we are living in 13 dimensions not just 4, the 4th being space-time. It's called the String Theory or The Theory of Everything. Look at the video Mike provided and google "String Theory". My point is you need to open your eyes and mind to possibilities you thought were impossible - one of these possibilities being buzzirk. Do your due diligence and decide for yourself.

I have my reservations on the company and whether or not the company can live up to what they promised. I've joined the company for one reason:
The what "if factor"!!!
I've invested $69, and will be paying $40 a month. I do not consider this to be a big investment. You can spend $40, quite fast, going out for dinner you will spend more...
If this opportunity busts than, I've lost some money. I've learned a bit more in the progress and made some contacts in the process.
BUT
If this opportunity is real. The sky is the limit!
We live in such a pessimistic world. We want to make money but no one wants to take risks. No risks no rewards!
Do your homework, read up on the opportunity, weight out the pros and cons, see how much you can afford and just try! You have nothing to lose and so much to gain!

I just want to hear from some real people that are in this so I can see if its for real. I've been in many MLMs before and they work only for a short time and all those at the top that were bought in to bring in all their down lines feel up the top spots, and everyone in after that gets screwed. Lets here some positive feed back, mostly what I've read so far is BAD NEWS. Mike 317-504-8927

Folks, i'm not trying to blow holes, but there are so many unanswered questions here, not only about the companies involved, but the standards boards that deal with LTE/4G technology which aren't yet fully defined, let alone the 5G spectrum...
I like most want ubiquitous voice-video-data over a full blown IP communications network and can't wait until it is available to All!
Technology speaks for itself...

Mike, I do believe in miracles...
Have you received and fully tested the HTC Diamond or the Pharos phone over Zer01 patented Veritable Mobile Convergence(VMC) Network/Technology? If so, what is the QOS rating and does the 39.00 activation fee include the cost of the phone?
-Mark "If you read the same things as others and say the same things they say, then you're perceived as intelligent. Mark, you did not ask if the $39.00 activation fee included the cost of the phone. I ask you, if I were to purchase a security package to secure my cellular so that my call could not be listened to is the cost of buying the one for cellular at the single rice give me the right to ask or expect that you would be sending the phone to me as well.

if you folks want to know what is what join us on tuesday or thursday nights..9pm at www.talkshoe.com look for global verge...
then either join and take a risk on the 'what if' like the rest of us are.. or just go away with your negative mindset and wait to see what happens.. IF it is as BAD as you all think.. then you can laugh with glee that we GAVE up all of approx $100 on a really good 'what if'
but if it IS everything we hope and trust it will be.. we will laugh with glee at you!
to me, putting out of approx $100 on this venture is just as much FAITH as putting my brakes on to stop before ramming into the car in front of me.

funny guy/gal.. a guy was on a call last saturday IN HIS BASEMENT using one of buzzirk's new phones.. he had NEVER been able to use any cell phone there before..
it is the 2100mhz that made it possible. are the phones real? do they work as told? YES>
as for the 5G? enough already. go to the corp website NO MENTION of us having 5G is there. it is not even available in the USA!! those that say it is do not have 'compliant' buzzirk websites and as i type Zer01 is making sure all false info is being removed from the net.. and if folks do NOT remove it[ and they are associates ] they will be either suspended or terminated for NOT complying. NOW, if this WAS a scam why would the company even care about the false info? it just makes them sound better..lol...

WALLACE.. i agree with you on the following which you posted above...
~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have watched and spoken to some of the distributors and I see that the recruitment of distributors are being told to just slam the people into the business and if they fail, oh well…next. I hear that some are bragging about signing up 25 people a day and then they are left to fend for themselves and it is the same old story of not supporting them and of course they will drop out and bad mouth the company. This is short term gain for long term failure. I mean sign up only what you can comfortably work with until they are successful and understand what is required to learn in order to be successful in this business. Then sign-up the next distributor and repeat and teach your people to do the same simple right? It is and always will be a teach to teach and train to train type of a business, and if you teach people to just funnel people into the business and if they fail oh well, compress them out of the Matrix right? What kind of a message does this send out to the networkers in this business? The new MLM sponsors must realize that their most important product is people, assisting them in accomplishing their hopes and dreams. It is a teaching and a mentoring business.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been in a few companies.. Ameriplan for example and they have contests to see how many IBOs people can enroll and they get gifts, awards etc for getting the most.. But they can NOT possibly help everyone they enroll so the attrition rate is very HIGH.. and for that reason it disgusted me when i would post this and the bigwigs would delete my posts about this.. it doesn\'t matter HOW GOOD the website training is..how good the mentoring and info calls are... YOU STILL HAVE to work with people... it IS a Business and i do not know of any business where you just hire someone and let them \'go do their own thing\' i am glad you brought this up... the matix IS AWESOME...and though there are HEALTH companies that insist their matrix is the best.. EVERYONE has cell phones.. and not everyone takes vitamins to have them replaced with a bottle of juice/food for $30-$60 a month! so buying a bottle each month on autoshipment is not a good deal if your heart is not in wellness..passion for the product is such a biggie too.. without the belief in your product..i do not see how anyone can present it w/o lying.. we have NOTHING TO LIE ABOUT WITH BUZZIRK.. IF THIS goes as we are told it will..and as it seems to be headed... right to our banks!

Sounds very interesting. Question; 1. How does a 29 year old (B. Pi'ilani) CEO of Unified Technologies, get 14 BILLION in funding? 2. If all that is said about the product is on the up and up, why would they partner with GlobalVerge who's President, Mark Petschel, has a track record of starting a new MLM almost every year? And a Securities Fraud indictment in his past? I'm not understanding why the association.

Pablo.. Mark Petschel is no longer our CEO..of Global Verge..
and the reason the two companies joined is because Ben needed a company to MARKET his new technology and Global Verge wanted to market a cell phone!!
They met and that was it. Ben deals with the ZER01 part NOT the BUzzirk/Global Verge part..
Zer01 is the mobile carrier..and will supply the phones to us.. if you want more info.. please email me at alreadybuzzirk@gmail.com

I'm very interested in this opportunity. But i've got some questions:
Can i get infor on becoming a distribution agent/partner?
Where can i get to watch a presentation or demonstration on actual performance and workings of the features, functions and capabilities of this incredible service, simply referred to as "Unlimited everything"?
Is there any infor out there on product pricing on the mobile phones, both whilesale and retail?
Why is there anything about coverage areas if infact this mobile service can be used and accessed from anywhere?
How do you handle or respond to potential clients (both e-Associates and consumers alike) who ask to see a demonstration of how the unlimited mobile services/functions work?
After you present this business and a potential client still prefers to be a consumer as against e-Associate, ready to purchase a mobile device, what do you do or how do you respond?
Just curious and need to decide. Thanks!

Good questions,
Only select few have already had their phones activated, and the first phones and SIM cards are to go out only to e-Associates for the very reason you are asking about, to see demonstration.
Phones will vary on price bassed upon features, just like most, but there are no contracts, so no incentives of discounts on phones. The price range is similar to iPhone which also does not discount phones, so pricing will be up to associates, and wholesale to retail prices will be defined by associates. Range is $150. to $500. retail while SIM cards for existing smart phones will be the least costly method of changing to Buzzirk service.
Coverage is same as most traditional carriers offer, but early reports are that the fringe areas will be better served, but I can only report second hand as I don't have my service yet. I am one who has fringe issues and dropped calls from home, so I will know right away if service is better and will report as soon as possible, good or same.
Show and tell is the easiest method to sell to others, and the site will be retail oriented when it goes public, so until then, all they will be able to do is wait. It will be well worth it from all I have learned. Anyone can be a retail only customer, so no one is required to become an e-associate.

Thanks a lot for your prompt response, Mike!
Another thing, Mike. Are there any plans in place to support those e-Associates who are interested in becoming distributors using retail outlets?
I understand that this service is also available whereever GSM phones are being used, so does include countries outside the US?
And, with this Zer01/Global Verge services, can people (from different locations) of a particular country where GSM phones are currrently being used call one another locally and all across such country just as we do here in the US?
I hope my questions arent beginning to sound more stupid now. Am only out seeking more understanding of this incredible service.
I appreciate any response to address my concerns. Thanks again!

the SIm cards are supposed to be available for reps in a week or two, so i have been told. this means those with 'smart phones' or wishing to purchase 'smart phones' can use these SIM cards and be on Zer01's network

Okay thanks! So in the meantime, all we've got to do is sign up as eAssociates till further notice, right?
And, from what you have found out so far, in which way do you hope to benefit from being part of this business network? Or whats your understanding of this program so far?

I asked these questions bcos primarily I am not a fan of MLM, which is what this plan will be based on for now; moreso that nobody seems to have details or clear-cut information on whats happening, neither now nor in the nearest future. But ofcourse, I am so intrigued and excited about the features and services that I am just threading along with the hope that I'd run into more beneficial infor down the line.
Especially since I'm more interested in retailing the products and services than the MLM plan. In the light of this, what would you guys suggest that I do?

Guys,
I just joined Global Verge a few days ago. I don't know how things will turn out. Initially, I saw huge potential with minimal risk. However, one interview article alone from Ben Piilani over his association with Global Verge/Buzzirk Mobile really casts some serious doubts. I hope I'm wrong. I guess all that's left to lose is my $70 to start up. Here's the article from Laptop Magazine, a highly reputable high-tech publication:
Within the next quarter I suppose all of this should get cleared up.

I wish you would all stop this. We have already heard enough. I believe that at this time those bashing this product and company must definitely be afraid of something, maybe your precious company, maybe that VOIP video phone you ACN people market that functions like crap and is blocked at most respectable hotels worldwide is not making you big guys the money oh but your recruiting sure does. Your company has fooled people to fork out $500 per year plus backoffice fees plus the cost of every marketing tool required just to get started. During the past 15 years ACN has not done a whole lot to give their reps anything that is not already readily available and for what a savings of just a few pennies and tech support that should be trained and order processing that screwup everything. And not to mention the residual incomes of the RVP and SVP that have decreased over 30% in the last six months. What a little nervous. You should be but not because of someone else product but because you dropped the ball when recruiting became more important than product development and quality service. Now Cut this crap out. You have been bashing other companies for years under alias this and that. Spend you time with research and development. Cut the Travelling Horse and Pony shows, make product development your priority as it was in the beginning and you could climb back up there. The world at one time had great respect for you but allowing your Reps to post this stuff here and on other sites is sinful. If only they were intelligent enough not to use the TC, RVP, SVP positions when they started this bashing you may have been able to get away with this behavior with out we the general public being able to identify the source of this continued disgraceful behavior.
Now let me get to these buzzirk reps. If you believe in your product and company have a little more class than the frightened ACNers and the RIPCORD group and I am sure others as well and get to work, build your teams and when the product hits the market that will all that need to be said.

Cubbie, how do u mean the interview no longer applies? I dont understand, pls explain, thanks!
Guest
59. 03-08-2009 00:43
Funny,
I know very well when it took place, as if a few months ago no longer applies, so are you trying to imply the VOIP technology is no longer valid? I would think Richards would like to hear about this from you. lol
Deceiving, get real, how we define recent is going to be open to debate, so why bother, Mar. 31, 2009 is recent to me, and if recent to you is yesterday, so be it, all I am saying is people at this level know the facts, you don't, as you admitted. You can call Richards like I have and I am sure you will be enlightened over what they have with Zero1, and that is was real issue, not when agreement was signed. However one wants to define recent is up to them, but deceive, give me a break.
As to GV and marketing, yes, I have issues over not being prepared for 50K associates who all want the service, so I question why they did not have their act together before the controlled rollout to associates only. They are a month behind soft rollout, not what we all wanted to see, but on the other hand, better to be late than never show up to the party.
You and others have their agenda, but don't call my post deceiving unless you can prove there is no validity to interview, no matter when it took place. Do you really think agreements evaporate in a few months from press release, if so, then contact the SEC, I am sure they would want to know if the agreement and interview were false or misleading since they are a public company and must follow SEC strict regulations on all public announcements.
P.S. Good luck with your deal, there is enough business for everyone, so don't lower yourself to bashing others, it will work against you in the end. Just a little friendly advice.

Hey folks, now am getting more curious. But is there any truth to the allegations above about the past history of the folks at the top as mentioned in the scam report? Notwithstanding the discrepancy in the alleged sign on i/a/o $149.95 as against $19.95 or $69.95 for that matter. Mike can you pls look into this, even if "Cubbie" is juist bashing and hating, there might be some element of truth in what he "lifted" (not his own conclusions) from scam.com; I look fwd to your prompt respnse.
Thanks!

"REFUND INSTRUCTIONS FOR UNAUTHORIZED DEBITS

*The sales organization for Buzzirk Mobile, Global Verge has offices within the same locations.
HERE IS THE CONTACT FOR REFUNDS; Detective Chad Albin Lee's Summit Police Dept
With no one from GV or Buzzirk, not even Mark Petschel who lives in that community occupying these empty offices, Detective Albin would be happy to handle your request.
More and more it looks like this will be the only route to take for any refunds whatsoever from this Company. Of course you can always try putting in a 'trouble ticket'"

Ben Piilani is quoted as saying patent pending.
Patent Pending number US 61/149,871 listed under Unified Technologies Group.
I'm waiting to see how all these turn out. Am already signed no for $69.95 and hoping things take a better shape and if not I'll count my loss and move on. The money paid is ok for now, it is when they start charging "monthlies" without delivering that I'd have to raise hell. I pray it doesnt get to that point though.
But as Mike pointed out, I cant wait to see how this technology pans out. I just wanted to be well positioned for it should it come out great.
Cheers!

Any rebuttal?
Mike?
Or, is there anyone else out there apart fom Mike & Cubbie?

This guy makes some interesting points. **************************************************** "Trust me.. we are all waiting..
Few points.. when MS says they have something they are coming out with.. they are in Beta and people have seen and touched it. When MS went to IBM.. they had something the engineers at IBM could "touch".
I have had my own business... (sold to a larger company) Been sucessful with a couple of MLM companies and then one thing those companies had that this one doesn't is a product that people will really want. I am going to pretend that this product exists at this point for sake of argument.
So I sign up with GV to sell a phone. I got to my "comfort" group of friends and try to convince them how awesome it is. (since this is all a fantasy we are going to pretend it will do they said it would)
I try to sell the phone on the features.. the first thing that comes up is.. thats really nice.. but the more features you add to a Smartphone.. the faster the battery dies. Why would I want to watch movies on my phone? I just want to be able to hit the net from time to time.. SMS, email, etc. So looking at my talking points.. I would tell them that they can get an unlimited plan for $79 with no contract and no credit check and international calling for $89. My tech saavy friends would tell me that they already have this service and pricing for $60 a month.. so why would they want to pay my company $30 more a month?
The $60 a month service.. is already here. If the major players feel that this service was ANY kind of threat.. they would adjust their business model accordingly. If you have any business sense.. you would know this to be true.
The last issue for me is service.. who is going to support these phones and service? These folks say they have 40,000 people signed up and ready to go.. they cannot even get people to answer their own associates email or phone calls.
I did listen to the TD call recording and it was more controlled than a Whitehouse Townhall meeting on healthcare. I heard the gentlemen leading the call go to Ruth for questions she was getting from the field as she was so in touch. Not one question from Ruth regarding the phones.. it was all about the backoffice and billing.. etc.
The only item that was offered up about the phones was that the Sim cards were being "defragged" and this was adding to the delay. Sim cards for phones are firmware.. not software. You don't defrag firmware..
This phone business model is doomed to fail from the onset.. thats even if they had a phone.."

I guess the waiting game continues at this point! As for me I don't see why do anything otherwise.
But u guys are making great points here, no doubt! If I have any questions about the service, the roll out and other stuffs, where am i supposed to go to? ...'cos even my upline does not have answers to my questions either.
I have never seen anything like this before where a company is about to "bust out to the world" but has no way of taking care of logistics and backoffice questions, or even customer services for eAssociates.
But as Mike says, "...so we will all have to wait and see", i guess!
Guest
68. 06-08-2009 19:04
At this point, I find it hard to talk to people about this until I'm cock-sure; I've got other business going on, and I cant even summon courage to go out and hire eAssociates as they all want when i lack the knowledge to confidently talk abt this myself; its difficult for me to sell what i don't have. If they cant answer my questions, how would they be able to answer the questions of those i bring in. So my resolve, in the meantime, is to wait and see. I dont know if thats wise or not, but thats the situation where this has put me. At least until better enlightenment is provided on the program.

hey guys, i found this on the internet today. supposedly there were firings of execs at buzzirk? i don't know how this will affect zer01??? ****************************************************
BREAKING NEWS!! Buzzirk Mobile/Zer01 gets another slap in the face. Buzzirk Mobile promised its representatives that it would launch on July 1st, 2009 but it did not launch. Coupled with the fact that it cannot deliver upon its promised representatives, and its failed launch now comes the news that the only award that they bragged about being snatched from them earlier this year the C.T.I.A award was given to Zer01 mobile ar April C.T.I.A wireless 2009 event that award was taken away Please view the article below... In LAPTOP’s 18-year history, we’ve given out hundreds of awards, each chosen to educate our readers about best-in-class products with great potential to change their lives for the better. These awards range from our Editors’ Choice Award, which appears on reviews for our highest-rated products to special sections like our Best Notebooks of the Year to tradeshow awards like those we give at CTIA Wireless. We’re proud of the many innovative products we’ve highlighted, and we’ve never had to rescind an award, until now. Effective immediately, we are rescinding the Best of CTIA Award given to Zer01 Mobile at April’s CTIA Wireless 2009. We’re taking this extraordinary step, because of serious ethical questions that have arisen about the company. We can no longer endorse its service and therefore are compelled to warn our readers to avoid it. Trade shows such as CTIA Wireless are all about potential, as vendors announce and demonstrate new products that have yet to hit the market. We meet with the most interesting of these vendors to get a sense of what they have to offer our readers, and we choose Best of Show award recipients based on our best effort to determine the potential of products that have yet to be released. However, in the case of Zer01 Mobile, it appears that the information the company provided was inaccurate and incomplete. The company claimed that it would offer unlimited voice and data for $69.95 per month and use VoIP technology to let users make calls. We were informed at CTIA that Zer01 would launch its service by July 1. However, the company has since broken its promises both to consumers and to us. Serious questions have also been raised about Zer01’s network and whether it can offer the coverage it promises. The company says it has interconnect arrangements with GSM providers yet refuses to tell us who they are. AT&T denied to us that they have any agreements with Zer01, and T-Mobile declined to comment. As we’ve reported, Zer01’s coverage map is identical to that of AT&T’s, which raises even more doubts. As of July 1, according to Network World, Zer01 changed the content of its Web site and began calling itself a mobile virtual network enabler. Even more unsettling is the fact that sales associates for Buzzirk Mobile, which is the public face of Zer01, have deceived the public by claiming that Zer01 owns 2100 MHz spectrum when it does not. When we interviewed Zer01 CEO Ben Piilani on July 22nd and confronted him about our concerns, he promised to deliver a phone for us to test by the following week. However, to date we have yet to receive an evaluation unit. In addition, an e-mail message sent to Zer01’s public relations firm last week, which warned that we may rescind our Best of CTIA Award, was not answered. At this time we can only urge extreme caution to those interested in using or selling Zer01’s service.

They were NOT firings !
This is an excerpt from an e-mail I received from corp
"Like any company, management changes for various reasons. A determination was made that in the best interest of you the e-associates and the company that some changes be made to better serve everyone.
Steve Lewis and Teresa Curtis were brought on interm, for a short period of time.
As of yesterday, they are no longer with us. We thank them for their service. We wish them well in the future.
Rest assured that the company is moving forward and there is lots going on! Management is in place, new employees for support are being interviewed and trained.
We are aware that there is a back log on phone calls and that its difficult and frustrating when you cannot get thru.
Please know that we want to make your experience a good one and will have that corrected over the next week as the new employees are trained.
Xennsoft is working on some of the kinks that have been reported and will have those fixed as quickly as possible.
To help, please make sure you have the exact billing address that is linked to your card.
Make sure if your using a debit card that it does have the visa/mc logo on it.
If you were not able to be on the Corp call last night, please look for the whole recorded call in your back office shortly.
Here are some of the highlights: MERCHANT ACCOUNTS: Ted brought on Jeff Powell one of the bank associates behind some of our merchant accounts
COO: Craig Perry came on the line and talked about his interview with Mr. Piilani today and his ability to actually watch the phone be programmed with BUZZIRK.
He went off premise to make sure he was connecting to Zer01's signal.
He was VERY HAPPY to PROVE that yes the technology works, he made calls with it, and was very pleased with the meeting!
Craig says there is a HUGE opportunity here.
Coming in now, you have to be willing to live thru the bumps, but he is very happy to be here, and sees a very bright future with GV!!
Craig also stated that he understands that some people want to wait, and we will honor that.
Craig said today was a HUGE step for him, as he knows that the technology works and we SOON will be able to have this in everyone's hands!
TED talked about open houses weekly at our MO Corp headquarters so people can see the products, meet the staff and see that we are real. Ted wants to be fair and honest with everyone, make sure that they know what our status is, where we are going, and that we are strong as a company, we have a great commission structure, great merchant accounts as well as wonderful vendors with LOTS of products.
He also talked about lots of people who have come in and were never told about our other products.
This is a company with opportunity in many areas, and everyone should know all that is available and then choose to focus on what interests them ..."
Buy hey, when a company puts in almost 40,000 reps in one month & they were NOT prepared for it ... in all honestly, don't you think things would get a bit bumpy...?
It was about 20% more growth than ANYONE anticipated
Let's see what happens once phones start rolling out & the nay sayers can go and find another company to throw rocks at
And if you believe ANYTHING you read at scam.com, I will guarantee that if I go to your house I will find a National Enquirer and the Star there as well

Thanks for clearing all out.
In the meantime, I dont think its fair for the Zer01/Buzzirk/GV company to start charging the monthly eAssociate bill when they are yet to deliver as of date. How can we ensure this is addressed immediately.
I fall into the category of eAssociates who have chosen to wait first. But then it doesnt sound like a good business practice charging and still delaying delivery of service, then expect 40,000 people to sit calmly and continue to wait with unwavering high hopes.
Does anybody feel me on this?

The opportunity would be outstanding IF it was actually ready to launch. It's one thing selling a hot product, it's another thing selling the promise of a hot product. The launch and availability to the buying public has already been pushed back twice now and I doubt most of the people who thought they were getting a phone have actually received them. I'd like to see the technology used in a non-mlm distribution channel, but that's probably not going to happen until a few million have been siphoned off by the "opportunity"

Sad,
No doubt first is best, especially in technology arena, so I gave GV more than enough time to get squared away, but sooner or later with all the bashing, there is a point of no return, and this was it.
I dislike bashers, or as I call them, BUZZards. lol Anyone who has been in this industry for any length of time knows it is a cut throat industry, but wow, these ACN and Lightyear guys were brutal. I didn't see any bottom feeding with FDI reps, so this combined with an almost exact same wireless service sold me, the people here are more respectful and all you see is side by side comparisons, so we shall see, but I talked to my associate who is in Baltmore and he will have hands on tomorrow and promised to call me on demo phones.
As we know, you have to be in it to win it, and in this industry, bashers are a dime a dozen, professionals are not, so nice to see a few like minded people who agree. What goes around comes around, especially on the internet, in lightning fast speeds, so bashers take note, many of us don't appreciate your tactics.

WARNING........
If you have been hyped by all the VOIP over mobile deals which have popped up over the past several months, then you found out the truth as I have, you need to learn about Cellular Over Internet Protocol COIP so you don't waste your time or money on all the other deals using VOIP over mobile which as you will learn, is in violation to TOS under optional data plans.
If you are with TMobile or AT&T, read the $40. optional date plan and you will see they do not permit voice over their data network, voice is VOIP, yet a dozen companies, which I won't bother mentioning here, are all promoting VOIP in violation of TOS with these major carriers.
COIP does not require a GSM smart phone purchase, nor does it require the optional data plan for $40. which all these VOIP deals require. Not only will you get hit with a data charge, but the quality is not even close to COIP which was specifically engineered and developed for wireless mobile which insures crystal clear calls.
Now for the best part, it is not $300. to become a representative like it is for almost all the VOIP deals, it is FREE. There is no monthly charge for web site like the others charge, and there is no purchase required like the others, so if you are looking for a superior technology, much greater savings, no hype, no BS, no cell wars, plus a superior commission plan, and no one can come close to 1ButtonToWiFi and combined with merger with MySocialIncome MSI, now you have social media viral marketing like no other, and it is all FREE.
Check all the rest, then come over to the best, you will not find anything that comes close at any price, and when you see our 1Phone, similar to the iPhone, but a dual SIM multi band phone ready for WiFi, WiMax, GSM and COIP network, all on one mobile phone. No one else has a dual SIM phone, never mind having it all ready programed for COIP. Register and watch the videos and free training, learn the truth, listen to CEO, no BS, this is a public company, so do your due diligence.

Simple,
When Zero1 could not deliver given they were technically promoting VOIP over wireless through supposed agreement with TMobile, it all fell apart. I am sure once TMobile saw what Zero1 was doing, offering VOIP over their optional data network, they pointed out TOS violation, so the old domino effect hit Buzzirk and Global Verge and eventually will hit all the VOIP over mobile deals, so this is why nothing but a VOIP service has been announced.

Global Verge, huh, what a scam and some poor products they're hawking. The FTC needs to investigate the suckering of 50,000 people to promote the Buzzirk product. I wish I could 'legally' rip off 50,000 people of $40+ a month. I am going to reverse the charges on my AMEX. I wish every other scammed person would do the same and put an end to this farce. I am SOOOO stupid.

I can tell by your post that you must have at least made it through the 3rd grade. Your grammar is atrocious. You definitely do not have an IQ of 150. I would say more like 75. I guess we should call you Mr. Gump.

I'm curious, with all of the "BS" involving GV and the deadline's that were never met from Buzzirk and zer01, how does Mr. "Big" ben have time to hire a new president to an out of no where record label??? it seems that he just cant fix or finish his other mistakes with having to start another one.

Total scam from start, and sadly, it hurt a lot of people, but in the end, it was an education for many who were looking for a home business, never trust anyone.
WIth wireless wars under way, none of these new deals will be long term as I see it, you just cannot expect to compete when you are dealing with Verizon and AT&T, never mind TMobile and Sprint whoc are all introducing low cost deals like Boost, Straight Talk and Virgin Mobile is also entering low cost arena, so do you really think and VOIP based deal will be able to take revenues away from the big boys and not having them respond.
It has already happened with Apple app for wireless VOIP, not Google jumped into war with their phone when the big boys didn't allow VOIP application knowing it would take profits away from their voice plans. VOIP is dominating landlines just as COIP will dominate wireless in time, and that is why data plans have all gone up while voice plans have come down in price.
I have researched them all, and none of these VOIP deals will save you much money in the end, just like Buzzirk, GICONN which FDII dumped, Televerus, WOW and VOIParty which are short term money grab deals for the big boys control the market as long as they control the networks, voice or data, non one will be able to make any money in the end just the same as it was with landline telecom, profits kept dropping, why else would the original, Excell and the current ACN and Lightyear deals which mostly depend on start up costs and monthly costs to pay commissions to survive, while little comes form actual telecom sales.
Hey, I use to do well in the industry, but it is all about to change again with new technology about to hit market which will further put pressure on the big boys and pricing. The future is satellite wireless, so stay tuned, but don't waste your time with VOIP wireless, there won't be enough money to pay commissions on in the end, it is just a matter of time for all of the above and won't it be fun to see who survives. If you want tip on pending satellite wireless broadband using COIP, email me at: debtsfreedom @ aol.com
Good luck,

I read all of this buzzik scam, escort service thing, the involment of global verge, the dui. now he has an "Entertainment" company titled 5ive se7en which he also he seems to be having a record labe called 5ivese7en records, but when you look up contact info to get direct intouch, there shows nothing. it looks like he's already made money from grown business people and now it looks like a way for him to take advantage of the younger crowd with his "indie record label". everbody knows that the music industry is cut throat, what better way to use that in an excuse of reading some sort of contract wrong.?. i believe he needs to be stopped and some one needs to put him in his place ASAP!!!
