Ben MacKinnon (born August 24, 1987) is an American writer and teacher from Middletown, Delaware. He is of Scottish heritage (the Mackinnon Clan). He is the author of Green Bean Spirituality and he has published articles on sites such as Wrecked for the Ordinary and Prodigal Magazine. Education MacKinnon attended Middletown High School in Middletown, Delaware. For secondary education, he went to the University of Delaware. He majored in secondary math education. Career MacKinnon's first published text was entitled Green Bean Spirituality. It was published by Dog Ear Publishing in December 2008. Since then, MacKinnon has published multiple articles regarding faith and culture on the Internet magazines Wrecked for the Ordinary and Prodigal Magazine. Ben writes on a MacBook, which is fitting because his name is MacKinnon. Because Ben is an ambitious "go-getter", he decided to self-publish and self-market his first book. MacKinnon is an avid cyclist and is currently a high school math teacher.
