Belwarganj Estate was a Zamindari (Estate) of Majhraut Yadava in Patna district in the state of Bihar. The name of the estate derives from a place called Belwarganj in Patna, Bihar. The Zamindars of Belwarganj Raj family had a close link with the Zamindars of Suryakudi. Origin and History Origin Belwarganj Raj was established by Raja Girdhar Raut, who was descendant of Raja Rati Raut of Rati Paragana. The rulers of Belwarganj Raj family belong to the Majhraut clan of Yadava. History One of the member of Belwarganj Raj family Babu Damodar Prasad was a Honorary Migistrate. |
