Bayern Munich vs. Real Madrid

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are two of the biggest club teams in the Europe and the world and their matches has always been a classic match in the UEFA Champions League. They have played many times against and Bayern Munich is more successful in heads-up although Real Madrid has won more trophies.

In the season that Real Madrid and Barcelona were leading in laliga and their superstars Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were scoring goals twice the other european league, everyone was expecting a Spanish final match in Champions League. But at two memorable matches in each semi-final the german and english sides came up to play the final match in Munich.
First leg was played in Allianz Arena. As the final was going to play in this stadium, Bavarian's home stadium, the german side was very enthusiasted to defeat the Galactic team again.
A close-range strike from Mario Gomez in the 90th minute gave FC Bayern Munich the narrowest of advantages in their UEFA Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid CF.
