Bartosz Lech
Bartosz Lech (born June 7 1983) is one of the first members of the Polish Green Party, an organization to which he remains connected. He stood as a candidate in the 2005 parliamentary election in Poland. In 2007-2008 he chaired the Young European Greens. .
Lech's campaigns focus on European integration, civil liberties, the inclusion of minorities, sexual and reproductive health rights.
Lech is from Szczecin in northwest Poland and a graduate of the Center for Europe at Warsaw University. He was the first Polish citizen to stand as a candidate in European elections in a country other than Poland, gaining 14,000 votes in Belgium, where he ran as an Ecolo candidate for the European Parliament. He currently resides in Belgium.
