Kevin McKeever

Kevin McKeever (born 08 October 1980) is a British politician. In May 2008 he was selected to stand for election to the Parliament of the United Kingdom for the Labour Party in Harborough against the incumbent Conservative Member of Parliament Edward Garnier QC.

Early life
Kevin was born in Glasgow and grew up in the East Riding of Yorkshire and Newcastle upon Tyne. He attended school at St. Andrew’s, Haltemprice, Wolfreton School and the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle upon Tyne. He graduated from the University of Durham in 2003, having read law.

After a period teaching constitutional law and European human rights law at Durham University, he went to work for the Labour Party over the 2005 General Election.

Kevin works in public relations, having worked for the British PR company Luther Pendragon and Washington, D.C.-based APCO Worldwide in London.

Candidacy
In May 2008 he was selected to stand for Parliament for the Labour Party in Harborough.
