Barratt Developments in Woking

In Woking Barratt Developments have built two major buildings Centrium and New Central.
Centrium
The Centrium is a block of flats in Woking, Surrey, England. It is known locally as The Ship due to its distinctive shape.It is 49 Meters High (161 feet). The Centrium is the 2nd tallest completed building in Woking. It is part of a development of three blocks by Barratt Developments. The site had previously been part of the Railway and had a shed where Bananas were stored. On the Ground floor Centrium has some retail units this is where Charlie Choy's Restaurant and Bar is. There was a nesting box attached to the spire for Peregrine Falcons although the was broken by bad weather, and the box is yet to be fixed.
New Central

New Central (aslo know as Victoria Arch) is a buidling underconstruction in Woking. It is part of a development by Barratt Developments who built Centrium. When New Central opens it will include one and two bedroom apartments. On the ground floor there will be Retail units. The tallest part of the development is called Olympic heights. The reason it is named this because New Central will open in 2012 the same year as the London Olympics. New Central will be 64 meters high. The building started rising in early 2010.
By November the same Year New Central had reached the same hight as Centrium.
Other Developments
Near The Dukes Court building there is a Residential Building with a Clock tower on top witch was part of the previous building on the site. This was redeveloped by Barratt Developments
