Kentucky Towers Apartments

The Kentucky Tower Apartments is a mixed use complex in the downtown district of Louisville, Kentucky.

About
The 19 story complex broke ground in 1924 and building finished in 1927. The building was once used as a hotel is now used as a residential and commercial combination building with floor plans available for both uses. It is currently Louisville's 21st tallest building at and will become the 22nd after the construction of the Museum Plaza. The building has changed owners several times over the years including an auction held by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2001. In April 2007 the property management firm PMR Cos assumed oversight of the building and is currently making improvements to the building.

Notable events
June 18, 1986 William Pollard an assistant Louisville city law director and former circuit court judge was found on the roof of a smaller extension of the building. It was an apparent suicide.
