Aslam Malik

Aslam Malik is a Journalist born at Sialkot. He is a nationalist who clamours for patriotism and has devoted his life to inculcate the ideology of Pakistan in the minds of young generation since last five decades. He made it his mission to make the coming generations well aware of the objectives of the creation of Pakistan and the primal foundation of ideology of Pakistan and wrote several books i.e 1)Pakistan aur Jang-e-Azadi 2)Do Qaumi Nazria Kia Hai? 3)Pakistna Kiun Bana? 4) Pakistan Kaisay Totta? 5) Pakistan ka Matlab Kia? 6) Tassawar-o-Tehreek-e-Pakistan 7) Inqilab Manzil ba Manzil 8) Wadi-e-Jannat Kashmir 9) Founder of Pakistan 10) Sweetest Pakistan 11) An Ideal Pakistani Girl.
In 1950, he commenced an illustrated Urdu Monthly magazine entitled 'Ilm-o-Adab' for children and furthermore monthly 'Zeenat' for women and a literary quarterly magazine 'Urdu Adab' to promote Urdu literature. To solve the local problems and for the local development in every sector he started publication of a weekly newspaper 'Hamdard-e-Pakistan' and a fortnightly 'Ataleeq' in 1955. He also wrote books on the life history of the Pioneers of freedom, who are the role models for the Pakistani generations to come as follows: 1) Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah 2) Khatoon-e-Pakistan Fatimah Jinnah 3) Allama Muhammad Iqbal 4) Iqbal Mufaqar-e-Pakistan etc.
In recognition of the literary activities, Aslam Malik was furnished by the District Authorities many certificates and awards including 'Tamgha-e-Sialkot'. Moreover on the centenary celebrations of Murray College Sialkot, he was awarded 'Literary Roll of Honour' as an intellectual Alumni of Murray College. His name was also selected for the Master Degree Urdu Thesis 2005 titled Aslam Malik Shakhsiat aur Funn by the University of the Punjab. Last but not the least it can be said that Aslam Malik is not only a reputed writer but an institution in him.
