Arjun Mark (1980) and is an Indian born fashion photographer who lives and works in Mumbai, India. He had completed his graduation in Visual Communication from Loyola. Career Arjun Mark is currently a freelance advertising and fashion photographer working from Mumbai, India. However, he frequents other cities on assignments. His photographs have been featured in several prominent magazines including GQ, Vogue, L'uomo Vogue-Italy, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, Grazia and Marie Claire among others. Arjun is a student of Visual arts and got introduced to photography in college and ever since there has been no looking back. Objects around him were no longer impassive; they were ideas. Photography made him discern another altogether unexpected side of him and has become the premise of his artistic exploration. Just out of college, he had worked as an assistant photographer for over 4 years with different leading photographers in the country. Opportunities during this period had exposed him to work in India and overseas. His first commercial assignment was in March 2006, ever since Arjun has become permanently implanted in the photography industry. 2010 His flair for interpreting ideas into powerful and gripping images, have earned him much admiration and copious International acclaim. Sole winner of the 'Best of Show' at WPGA 2010, he is one of the youngest Indian photographers to have been lauded with most international photography awards. In July 2010 he was credited with the most coveted "Award of Excellence" title at the Communication Arts Best of photography competition 2010. Interests Arjun is a keen angler and a sport fishing fanatic. This has been his hobby and interest every since childhood. He is someone who gives his hobbies and interests equal importance to his work. He also loves scientific photography apart from his regular commercial photography assignments. He spends a lot of time in his studio experimenting with water, paint and also bullets trying to capture them in high speed using ultra fast flash lights.
