Sean Macias

Sean Ernesto Macias (born 31 October 1972) is a Pasadena-based litigation lawyer, the founder and managing partner of Macias Counsel Inc., a Los Angeles based law firm. Among the cases he has handled are the malicious prosecution lawsuit against Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior by Los Angeles shop owners George and Marijeanne Antounian in 2008 and the car accident suit against Crazy Town singer Seth Binzer in 2012.
In 2011 Macias was called upon to provide expert commentary on the Michael Jackson case for CNN’s Piers Morgan Tonight. In 2005 he worked as production attorney on the film, Quinceañera, which starred Jesse Garcia.
Biography
Macias received his Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Northridge in 1993 and his Juris doctorate from Indiana University School of Law in 1997. He was admitted to the State Bar of Indiana in 1997 and the State Bar of California in 1999.
Legal career
Macias handled the $16 million copyright infringement suit of Ashley Gasper aka Jules Jordan and the wrongful termination suit by Andrew MacDonald against Ascent Media Group, LLC and its subsidiaries in 2010. Mr. Macias works with celebrity lawyer, Mark Geragos, and his law firm Geragos & Geragos in various civil litigation matters.
In July 2012, Macias began handling the wrongful death suit brought by Joe Finley against LA landmark, Biltmore Hotel, for the death of his wife. Joe Finley, a contestant on America's Got Talent, alleged that the hotel destroyed evidence to cover up his wife's slaying in 2010.
