Ariel Kaplan

Ariel Erin Kaplan (born 4 April 1994 in Johannesburg, South Africa) immigrated to Australia at a young age. She is the youngest of three sisters.
Ariel studied dance with The Jane Moore Academy of Ballet in Melbourne, Australia, and singing and piano with Harry Mullany.

Her first performance in professional theatre was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, followed shortly after by . She then played Molly in Annie, Gretl in The Sound of Music and Young Cossette in Les Miserables.
Kaplan gained wide prominence in 2006 when she shared the role with 4 girls as Nala in The Lion King. She was then invited to perform the role for a year in Shanghai.
Kaplan was then selected to play Lisa Atwood in Season 3 of the popular childrens' television show, The Saddle Club.
Kaplan has also appeared on television shows Skithouse and Hamish and Andy and has appeared in television commercials for Target and Snugfit.
Kaplan attends Mount Scopus Memorial College and is in Year 10. She has put her schoolwork aside to concentrate on her role on The Saddle Club.
