Ardalan Hooshmand (born January 23, 1990), better known by his stage name Ardalan Tomeh, is an Iranian singer, songwriter, composer and rapper. Born in Tehran, Iran, Tomeh taught himself to sing and write poetry at a young age, his parents were always enthused to know about their child interests and follow him to achieve them. Tomeh was discovered in 2004 by Iranian R&B singer Amir Tataloo, who collaborated with him in many songs. Ardalan Tomeh made his recording debut in late 2004 with the collaborated single track "Nemikhamet" at the age of 16 featuring Amir Tataloo, Farshid and Masoud. Amir Tataloo's popularity brought Ardalan Tomeh to mainstream recognition. Ardalan Tomeh quickly gained popularity in 2010 with his first solo single track "Nagoo Nemishe". Life and career 1990-2003: Early life and beginnings Ardalan Hooshmand was born on January 23, 1990, in Tehran, Iran, the youngest child of the couple, he has an older sister, who has been studied Law at university. His parents are originally from Semnan, Iran, his father is an pharmacist and veterinarian, but he currently works at a private company, and his mother was high school teacher. His father usually listened to José Feliciano, Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong, The Beatles songs and Ardalan became interested in music. When Ardalan was 6 years old, The Lion King was one of his favorite animated musical adventure films, and the over ending credits song ("Can You Feel the Love Tonight") was the first song that Ardalan could to memorized it at the age of 6. When he was around 13 years old, he signed up to the ice hockey club, after a short time he joined to Iran national under-17 hockey team. In 2002, Hooshmand became the captain of the Iran national under-17 hockey team, he thought that is what he wants and what he can to be successful in it. When he moved to middle school, he didn't care to studying and his all thought was playing hockey, time spent and little Ardalan became one of the best hockey players in the team, but the most unexpectedly mishaps was leg injury and being unable to continue playing hockey. Then Ardalan said "good-bye" to his mind of future and hockey.
