Arcuates

Arcuates is a rock band from Saco, Maine. The band has shared the stage with many bands including Our Last Night (epitaph), Therefore I Am (equal vision), Sparks The Rescue (Fearless), and Farewell (epitaph).
History
Arcuates was formed in February 2009 by Nick Bilotta (vocals, guitar), Brandon Lamontagne (guitar), Josh Burkett (drums), and Matt Sohl (bass). Bilotta recruited the members and immediately began rehearsing on a regular basis. The band played it's first show on March 27 at The Station (Portland, ME). In its first summer, the band played a total of 25 shows across New England. The first demo contained five songs, four of which forshadow the upcoming debut album. The demos were recorded by Bilotta at his studio in Saco. The last song "Anabell (acoustic)" can only be found on the demo.
On August 8, 2009, Arcs played the inaugural Alliance Festival, in Livermore, Maine. The band was supposed to play the Support stage but was bumped up to opening Main stage. The festival is an annual event playing a slew of local bands.
In the summer of 2009 Arcuates teamed up with Joel Messer of Joel Made Media to film a music video for "Safer Now". the video itself was filmed in the basement of Biddeford Mill Yard in Biddeford, Maine.
In July of 2009 Arcuates made local headlines playing with indie act .
