Breakout Degree Breakout Degree is an English hard rock band that was formed in 2005, to compete in a York based version of the Battle of the bands. They came second in the competition but have carried on performing as a band since then. Breakout Degree have played with bands such as Diamond Head, Heavens Basement (formally Roadstar), Beyond All Reason, and have a strong association with Sign from Iceland (recently collected a gold disk at the Kerrang! Awards 2008), opening a number of shows for them. In June 2009 Breakout Degree plan to play their first headline tour of the UK and Europe in support of their eagerly awaited Debut Album.
