Anyck Turgeon (born in 1966) is a speaker on portals, advanced queries management, Business Information Assurance (BIA), information security and personal data protection and management strategies.
As Chief of Market Strategy and Security at Austin, Texas-based Crossroads Systems, Inc., Turgeon serves as a spokesperson outlining the benefits of combining computer data storage and security technologies. She is the sole women recipient of the 2008 Shaping Information Security People award presented by the Info Security Products Guide (published by Silicon Valley Communications) and has discussed visionary solutions with various organizations, including the Science and Technology committee of the UK House of Lords, the Cyber Security Industry Alliance and the United Nations. She leads Crossroads Systems’ strategic storage and security efforts that led to the creation of BIA solutions aimed at ensuring the accessibility, resiliency and security of organizations’ data.
From 2000-2005, Anyck oversaw (from the executive offices of Oracle Corporation in Silicon Valley), the creation and global deployment of three strategic departments to Oracle’s corporate growth. She led global teams across several corporate disciplines, including Oracle Portal, Oracle Industries and Oracle On Demand/Outsourcing. Through Oracle and other technology corporations such as Prism Solutions and Platinum Technology, Turgeon designed new enterprise portal frameworks and technologies, architected and deployed leading data warehousing solutions and managed secure IT environments for corporations worldwide, including:Alcan, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Crédit Lyonnais, General Motors, JP Morgan Chase, Ontario Securities Commission, Nabisco, Visa Inc.
