Angelzoom

Angelzoom is a solo project of German vocalist Claudia Uhle and an album launched in 2004, which is dominated by her distinct, high-pitched, operatic voice.
History
The first album (released under the Nuclear Blast label) is marked by participation of a large number of musicians. It was produced by Bernd Wendlandt who wrote all 15 songs (4 of which are covers, though strongly transformed so the originals are difficult to recognize). Most cellos are played by B. Deutung, the guitars by Pitti Piatkowsky, other musicians contributed only on single tracks: Apocalyptica, Joachim Witt, Letzte Instanz, miLú/Mila Mar, Inchtabokatables, Roadernallee and Nik Page.
Previously, Claudia was a singer of the German pop band X-Perience (1995-2007), which released four longplayers and had two hits: A Neverending Dream and Magic Fields.
Throughout April 2005 Angelzoom supported Apocalyptica on their European tour.
After four years hiatus Angelzoom began work on a new album, titled Nothing is Infinite, scheduled for release on September 24, 2010, it will be released by Wannsee Records. The first single will be The Things You Said, which will be released on September 3, 2010.
Style
The music itself is difficult to define; it resembles a soundtrack and has also close ties to New Age and Darkwave. Most of the lyrics are in English.
