Andrew Reiner

Andrew Reiner (born 1975) is the Executive Editor of Game Informer magazine, and author of the comic book series, Humanity. He is also one of the voices on KFAN's Video Games Weekly radio show . In 2008, he joined long-time bandmate, Matt Marshall, with Minnesota Vikings punter, Chris Kluwe, to form the modern rock band, Warbear. The group is based out of Minneapolis, MN, where Reiner resides.

Game Informer
Reiner, as he goes by in the magazine, has been a staple in the pages of Game Informermagazine for 13 years. He is trusted for his game reviews, and has been called the Roger Ebert of video games, a comparison Reiner sees as a compliment, and at the same time a slap in the face. In Game Informer's forums, he came clean saying "On the one-hand, I have the greatest respect for Roger Ebert's critique. At the same time, however, isn't he the same guy who spits venom on video games without having an understanding of them? That's not a fair critique. Two thumbs down."

Humanity
In an interview with The Good Ok, Reiner says that he started working on a comic book story about 10 years. It eventually became Humanity, a comic book that shows mankind doing ordinary things in extraordinary circumstances. The comic is believed to be about rogue super heroes, and a man whose life is affected by one.The story, according to The Good Ok, is designed like the TV show Lost in that it is largely a mystery with hidden morsels scattered within the pages. Reiner says that by the time you read the final 100th issue, you will look back to issue 1 and see new things. Humanity is currently scheduled to release in early 2009.
