Andrew G. Geishecker (1904-1974) was an American judge. Personal life Geishecker was born in 1904<ref name=turnover/> in Dedham, Massachusetts.<ref nameobit/> He was active both politically and socially in the town, including serving on the Finance Commission and the Board of Selectmen.<ref nameobit/><ref nameleader/> Geishecker also served as town counsel.<ref nameleader/> Geishecker died December 29, 1974, at 70 years old.<ref name=obit/> His funeral was held at and he was buried in Brookdale Cemetery in Dedham.<ref nameobit/><ref nameleader/> With his wife, Margaret (née Pipping), he two sons, Andrew G., Jr., and John,<ref namebermuda/><ref nameleader/> and a daughter, Carol.<ref nameobit/><ref nameleader/> He also had a brother named John and a sister, Christine.<ref nameleader/><ref namehamilton/> Career Geishecker studied law at Northeastern University and was an attorney for more than 30 years.<ref nameobit/><ref nameleader/> In 1948, he was appointed clerk of the court for the Northern Norfolk District.<ref name=leader/> He was appointed special justice of the Northern Norfolk District Court by Governor Francis Sargent in February 1970<ref nameobit/><ref nameleader/> and was sworn in on Sargent on March 20, 1970.<ref namesits/> He retired in 1972.<ref nameleader/> Outside of the courtroom, he was an incorporator and chairman of the board of the Dedham Trust Co., which later merged with the Quincy Trust Co. to become Hancock Bank.<ref name=leader/>
