Amit Jha (b. 17 September 1978) is an Indian director, scriptwriter and creative writer from Bihar, best known for jointly winning the Indian Telly Award for Best Director with Subramanian S. lyer for the television series in 2012. Jha was born and went to school in Bihar. He moved to New Delhi to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi with Honors from the University of Delhi. He has created original works in Hindi and Bhojpuri for dialogues, scripts, screenplays and lyrics. He also served on the jury of the Animday Awards 2014.
