Career College and Amateur Amir appeared for the Arizona Wildcats between 2007 and 2010, where he won numerous individual honors, including - Second-team NSCAA All-American and first-team All-Pac-10 honoree and Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Season (2009)Two-Time National All-American (2009-10). During his college years Khoshniyati also played in the USL Premier Development League for Seattle Wolves. Professional Amir was drafted in the first round (7th overall) of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by Los Angeles Galaxy . International Amir was the starting forward for the USA at the 2010 FIFA U-22 World Cup and the 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. |
