Americanos Poll The Americanos Poll is an opinion poll conducted by Encuesta, Inc. whose findings are released to the public free of charge in an effort to promote thought, dialogue, and understanding of the U.S. Hispanic population and to give a voice to the Hispanic community. The name of the poll, which means "Americans" in Spanish, was chosen to reflect the bilingual heritage of Hispanics in the United States. To show how Hispanics and Non-Hispanics compare, Americanos Poll studies have typically included both of these population segments. The research effort began in 2005, and Americanos Poll studies have since been conducted on a range of social, political, and economic topics. The poll has served as a source of information for media outlets and organizations that monitor the Latino population in the U.S. |
