Daniel Alfredo Ojeda (born August 13, 1984) is a Community County councilman for Miami-Dade County, Florida. Ojeda was the first and youngest Venezuelan American to obtain seat by a 60% of the votes. He was a successful candidate in the 2012 elections for the Community Council position in which he won the Incumbent Ex Military and Police Officer Jeff Wander. Early years A Hialeah native, he is the son of journalist Marilyn Gonzalez and veteran businessman and politician Dr. Alfredo Ojeda, advisor to President Carlos Andres Perez Rodriguez of Venezuela, who served from 1974 to 1979 and 1989 to 1993. Career In Venezuela and the United States, Ojeda studied in different schools and colleges while exposed to his parents diplomatic environment. In 2002, he began a course in Liberal Arts at the Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas before moving to the United States to study political science. During leadership and negotiation courses and public relations seminars, he held positions in show business and advertising fields.
