Amaxus is a commercial PHP web content management system developed by Box UK, based in the United Kingdom. It was originally developed in 2001 for the National Maritime Museum, and is now in-use on hundreds of websites, including those for Tomb Raider and .
Description
Amaxus is marketed largely on the claim of superior usability and interface. Technically, it has a cross-browser administration interface and can be installed on either Linux or Microsoft Windows with either the MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle Database engine, and uses Apache Solr for search.
