Altrisuoni

Altrisuoni (previously known as "Altri Suoni") is a Swiss record label specialised in jazz, contemporary and improvised music. It was founded in 1993 by Christian Gilardi, Romano Nardelli and Stefano Franchini. It is based in Ticino, the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, south of the Alps.

It is an independent record label devoted to promoting the Swiss jazz, contemporary and improvised music scenes. Probable influences that brought the founders to create Altrisuoni were Hat Hut Recordsand Unit Records, two historical jazz labels in Switzerland.

Today the label, with a catalogue of over 250 releases, is headed by one of it's founders, Stefano Franchini, together with Dimitri Loringett and Francesco Kestenholz. The label receives support from the Swiss Arts Council, Pro Helvetia
