Allis Karim

Allis Karim (also known as Al Karim) is a British business and contracts lawyer. His contract work has ranged from drafting and advising on music contracts to arranging major construction deals. Allis Karim qualified in 1991. He founded 'Smart Law' his own practice based out of London's Covent Garden and Cambridge.
Education
Alis Karim graduated in Law with honours in 1988 from the University of Essex and then went onto Law School in Guildford the following year. He trained with a London law firm Nabarro Nathanson based out of London's Mayfair between 1989 and 1991.
Career
During his career he has worked as in-house Counsel to major financial institutions, acted for financial regulatory authorities (investment and pensions) and has had spells in private practice. He has had some notable victories when defending private investors against financial institutions in the pensions and life assurance field when he was with the firm of Anderson Macrae.
Allis Karim also conducts litigation for diverse clients ranging from film actors to small business owners.
Allis Karim is the founder of Lola Waxx Records, a music label specialising in Soul, Neo Soul and high-end R&B. He acts as Legal Counsel to the label on all legal issues.
