Alejandra Catalina "Allie" Varley (born October 29, 1986) was an American soccer player who played for Syracuse University. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Allie moved to Syracuse, New York when she was six years old. She played for Fayetteville Manlius Highschool, and set several records in her four seasons on the varsity squad. After graduating highschool, Allie played for a year at Syracuse University. A great young player, Allie was expected to be a world-class player. On June 16, 2004, Allie was invlolved in a serious car crash in Manlius that killed her two younger brothers and left Allie with serious life-threatening injuries. This accident prevented her from playing soccer at a college-level. |
