All India Mixed Martial Arts Association

The All India Mixed Martial Arts Association (AIMMAA) is an society for mixed martial arts. AIMMAA was formed in the year 2000 but registered in 2004.
Accomplishments
* The earliest known Mixed Martial Arts promotion sanctioned by AIMMAA was Clash of the Champions between 2004 and 2007.
* In 2014 AIMMAA received affiliation from the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and is currently the sole representative for India for the IMMAF.
* AIMMAA has sanctioned every Super Fight League event held in India since 2012 including the India vs Pakistan SFL event in Dubai.
* AIMMAA has sanctioned three amateur MMA events named Bodypower India Open MMA Championships in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
* AIMMAA has created and launched a new format of MMA sparring called Sport MMA designed to enable under 18's to begin training in MMA as a martial entity in itself.
Partnership with IMMAF & UFC
In 2015, AIMMAA managed and trained team India to take part in the UFC Fan Expo held at Las Vegas on 10 July 2015. The Indian delegation, officials and team to took part in 2015 IMMAF Amatuer world champioship MMA at UFC International Fight Week.
