SuperKombat is a kickboxing and mixed martial arts promotion based in Bucharest, Romania. It was founded by Eduard Irimia in 2011 and held its pilot show in the same year. Broadcast Pan-European television Eurosport already entered this partnership broadcasting live all the events for 2011. Some tv channels from Asia, Pacific and South America will also broadcast them. Sponsors Mitsubishi Motors will award the winner with a Ralliart Lancer, beside the prize money. Rules Kickboxing fights are conducted under K-1 rules 3 X 3 rounds and WAKO-Pro title fights 5 X 3. SuperKombat World Grand Prix The first event, SuperKombat World Grand Prix I took place on May 21, 2011. The event's ring announcer was be no one else but Brad Vee Johnson, who will probably remain the announcer of the promotion. |
