Alfie Whattam

Alfie G. Whattam (born August 18, 1996) is a British magician, best known for his 2012 appearance on Britain's Got Talent.
Early life
Alfie G. Whattam was born in York, United Kingdom. He first learnt how to perform illusions when was bought a magic-set as a child. He developed these skills at local shows and events before moving onto television and the movies later as a teenager.
Media appearances
Alfie first appeared on BBC Weather. This lead to an appearance on BBC's Waterloo Road for two episodes. After one of his YouTube videos was spotted by ITV's Britain's Got Talent he was invited on the show, in which he made it to the shortlist finals - the only magician to make it to this stage in the shows history. From this Alfie appeared on SKY's Britain Does Variety and reached the Grand Finals of the show. During this time Alfie also starred in the indie films Lovers in Arms, Survivors and Both Ends of the Night.
Now Alfie travels the world performing at private parties, celebrity weddings and charity events for the likes of Simon Cowell, Ant & Dec and even Prince Charles.
In 2013 Alfie released a short film entitled 'The Magic Of Reality' to the underground magic community. This was met with high critical acclaim all around the world with controversial reviews throughout the media.
Just months later his 2nd DVD 'Beautiful Insanity' was released. This taught 6 card tricks to magicians and subsequently made Alfie a rising star in the underground magic community.
Personal life
Alfie G. Whattam is a student at York College.
